Stanley Hughes is a San Francisco-based bartender and author who spends most of his time impressing customers with his theatrics behind the counter and the delicious drinks that result from them. When he’s not doing that, he’s most definitely testing and reviewing ice makers for IceMakerPro. Funnily enough, this was a consequence of his main job.

When Stanley got his first ever job as a bartender to support himself through college, he learned how important fresh ice is for any drink, alcoholic or otherwise. He has a BA in Human Nutrition from Brandman University in Irvine, California, but beverages are his true passion.

At the first establishment he ever worked in, the owner refused to supply staff with modern appliances to ease their jobs, and Stanley’s much-requested ice maker was one of them. Needless to say, the moment he first got his hands on one was the same moment his now five-year-long quest to find the best one began.

He didn’t blog about it at first, but recently he took it upon himself to do that as well, and let the world know about the importance of owning a high-quality ice maker in the process.
