Although in a higher price range, this appliance is able to make 55 pounds of high-quality, clear ice in a day AND can also be used outdoors! Lynx L15ICE Ice Maker Description
The Lynx L15ICE ice maker can produce 55 pounds of clear ice in a day and is made to function both indoors and outdoors. It can store up to 27 pounds of ice; after filling up the ice container, the ice production stops until all or part of the ice is removed. Unlike most models, this Lynx ice maker only comes as right-hinged. The model is manufactured as a built-in counter-depth one but can be also installed as a standalone appliance.
The machine comes with a scoop holder that has a designated space inside the ice maker. The ice making mechanism is positioned at the top on the inside of the machine, right above a slope that delivers the top hat ice in the ice bin. Unlike other ice makers that have the control panel or switch on the outside, the Lynx L15ICE ice maker comes with a control switch on the bottom front panel of the inside section.
The rear of this ice machine has a ½-inch water inlet at the top right corner and a ½-inch drain outlet in the middle right area of the back panel. The Lynx ice maker also has a 6.5-foot power supply cord that goes outright above the ventilation panel on the back side. More technical specs of this ice machine are presented in the next section of our Lynx ice maker review.
